Bass player and composer Bernhard Meyer is living in Berlin since 2003. He is playing and recording with artists + projects + friends like:

His band „Melt Trio“ was acclaimed by the press for the recordings „Melt”, „Hymnolia” & „Stroy” and nominated for the EchoJazz three times. Also he is a long time band member of Berlin singer Lea W Frey.
Bernhard completed a master program for composition with Drummer/Composer John Hollenbeck at the Jazz Institut Berlin. 2016 he recorded as a duo with John Hollenbeck. In February 2018 two new projects released their debut albums on Traumton Records : The joint quartet by the Meyer brothers with Jim Black & Wanja Slavin: “OTHER ANIMAL”. And „MURMURATION”, the first band as sole leader feat.:

Since March 2020 Bernhard is teaching as a Professor for electric bass at Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Mannheim.
